Press release Hoberg & Driesch: Takeover of Jung & Co. GmbH

Duesseldorf – On September 28, 2011 Hoberg & Driesch Röhrengrosshandel GmbH & Co. KG signed a purchase contract for the acquisition of the steel tube distributor Jung & Co. GmbH.

Jung & Co. GmbH is the European market leader in seamless hollow bars and high strength steel tubes in fine-grained grades. The company is based in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany.

Mr Michael Kahlert, former Managing Partner, has agreed to continue as Managing Director of Jung & Co. GmbH.

Through this acquisition Hoberg & Driesch Röhrengrosshandel has become the European premium dealer No. 1 of seamless tubes for machine- and steel building construction.

This confirms Hoberg & Driesch’s policy of growth in high-quality segments, which the company already pursued in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
