Warehouse centralization July 2020

We are pleased to inform you that the process of Hoberg & Driesch’s warehouse centralization was finalized on July 17th, 2020.

Out of our Voerde location the last pipes were re-located into the central warehouse. Now all products are stored centrally in our warehouse in Düsseldorf-Rath; however, the product group „hydraulics“ will still be accommodated at our site in Kornwestheim.

The newly built central warehouse comprises approx. 45,000 m² storage space under roof as well as two fully automated high-bay systems with 8,000 storage units  and approx. 10,000 m²open space storage capacity for welded pipes and tubes.

At present approx. 45,000 tons of pipes and tubes found a home at the Düsseldorf location.

The central warehouse can supply up to 1,300 picks per day and is operated in a 3-shift system.

On average approx. 110 lorrys are loaded or unloaded respectively.
